Camp Google
aN online camp for kids
concept, design, creative, production, web and mobile
Kids ask a lot of questions. Thats why we created Camp Google. A free online summer camp for kids.
Kids ask all sorts of questions from what's at the bottom of the ocean, to how far is space, where volcanoes come from, and why does music make me move? We wanted to create an online program that encouraged all these questions so we worked with Google to create a month long camp for kids full of fun science projects and interactive adventures led by experts from Google, National Geographic, NASA, The National Parks Service and Zendaya.

week 1
Nature Week

For Nature Week we traveled up to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where we filmed at Kilauea Volcano on the big island of Hawaii.
We created an hour long video walk along at Kilauea Volcano where we asked the question, What Will You Find In The Wild?
We partnered with The National Parks and local Park Rangers as well as host, Derek Muller of Veritasium.
In addition to our main video, we created 2 interactive videos that taught kids how to make their own magnifying glass and what rocks are made of.

WHAT's living in my backyard?
Where do crystals come from?
week 2
Ocean Week
For Ocean Week we filmed in a submarine off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale to explore the coral reefs.
We created a live hour long video broadcast in the submarine as we explored the ocean floor to answer the question, What's Down There?
We partnered with the National Geographic, and marine biologists, Sylvia Earle and Erica Bergman.
In addition to the main video, we also created 2 interactive activities that taught how sonar works and what buoyancy is, for our kids to try at home.

How Does Sonar Work?
What is Buoyancy?
week 3
Space Week

For Space Week we traveled to NASA's Space Center in Houston TX.
We created an hour long video at NASA's Space Center where we answered the question, How Do You Live In Space?
We partnered with NASA Astronauts and our host, Micheal Stevens of VSauce.
In addition to our main video, we created 2 interactive videos that taught kids about constellations, how to make them and how gravity works.

what are constellations?
How do i defy gravity?
week 4
music week
For Music Week we filmed at a music studio in Los Angeles.
We created an hour long video that helped answer the question, Why Does Music Make You Move?
We partnered with Zendaya, Diane Warren, and Timbaland.
In addition to our main video, we created 2 interactive videos that taught kids about how to make things louder by creating a
homemade speaker and how to make a tonoscope which allows you to see sound.

WHAT does sound look like?
How do you make things louder?
